SNISMUN

Sharanya Narayani International School Model United Nations (SNISMUN) is a two-day international relations simulation for high school students. Delegates would gain insight into the workings of the United Nations and the dynamics of international relations by assuming the roles of UN representatives and members of other international bodies and national cabinets.

SNISMUN is an exciting opportunity for students to debate issues that confront world leaders and to draft resolutions in response to these global issues. Participants will develop their abilities to work with others who are equally motivated and passionate about the topics of debate and to respond to global concerns.

Message from our Academic Director

It is my pleasure to welcome tomorrow’s leaders to Sharanya Narayani International School Model United Nations Conference. SNIS MUN offers a wonderful opportunity for young minds to interact with each other; share your opinions through productive debate; analyse and accept differing viewpoints with an open mind and come up with fresh ideas and solutions for various global issues facing humanity. SNIS MUN will feature seven realistic committees, which will provide for diplomatic and constructive debate that will enhance your public speaking, critical thinking, collaborative, and negotiating skills. In addition to giving delegates an opportunity to understand the structural and operational aspects of the United Nations.
