INTERNATIONAL PRESS CORPS

 

The International Press Corps serves as the media arm of the conference. While committees debate policies and negotiate solutions, IPC delegates are responsible for documenting proceedings, conducting interviews, publishing reports, and covering major developments across all committees.

 

Through articles, press releases, and press conferences, members of the IPC provide delegates with updates on committee activities and emerging events. Their work ensures that discussions within committees remain accessible to the wider conference and encourages greater engagement between delegates.

 

In addition to reporting developments, IPC delegates will be expected to closely observe committee proceedings and understand the perspectives of delegates involved in the discussions. Based on their observations, they will write reports and news articles covering key debates, resolutions, and turning points within committees. IPC delegates will also participate in press sessions, where they are required to ask thoughtful and relevant questions to delegates, encouraging accountability, deeper analysis, and meaningful engagement throughout the
conference.

 

The role of the press extends beyond reporting facts. IPC delegates are expected to analyze developments, ask critical questions, and present information in a clear and balanced manner. In doing so, they contribute to a more informed and dynamic conference experience.
