The UNHRC or the United Nations Human Rights Council consists of 47 member states, and as the name suggests, its main purpose is to discuss human rights issues, and their headquarters are at Geneva, Switzerland. The organization was founded on 15th March 2006, and its parent organization is the United Nations General Assembly. The UNHRC was created to replace the United Nations Commission on Human Rights. They hold sessions 3 times a year, in March, June, and September, excluding special emergency sessions.
